'What's up?' competition: details
This is a new competition and your chance of getting your ideas and designs across to a wide audience. But that's not all, we will award the winners a voucher of £50 to spend in our www/fifthcolumnclassics.co.uk online shop for his/hers work and they will receive 5 of their T-shirts for free.
To get started see the competition details below. The first deadline is extended to the 28.02.2006
Background:
Fifth Column has always been politically, socially and culturally concerned about what's happening in our world. Whether by supporting action groups such as NSC in the 1970's or been actively involved with the 'Critical Mass' today.
Brief:
Design a T-shirt around politically, socially or culturally issues that concern you.
Specification:
The artwork needs to be a 1-2 colour design formatted as jpeg, Illustrator file (ai), TIFF, PDF or Word document(200-300dpi). It should not exceed a size of A3 (29x42cm). A visual showing placement of design on T-shirt is also a good idea, because a print does not have to sit in the middle of a shirt (but make sure the design does not go over the edges or neck of the shirt. There is no specification on the T-shirt colour. You can see available colours on our print website www.fifthcolumn.co.uk
Copyright:
By accepting the winning reward of £50 the designer transfers a temporary copyright to Fifth Column to print a maximum of 100 T-shirts. If our sales exceed 100 shirts we will negotiate a commission or extended fee with the artist. The artist retains copyright of design.
Deadline:
28. February 2006
Sending artwork:
